“A taste of heaven in your arms”

(A message to someone, written by my beautiful friend)

“it was a short stolen moment.

You barged into my life like a lightning striking directly at me.

I didn’t expect the feeling that overcame me.

I was on guard all the time, very alert.

But when I met you, my walls crumbled down, shattered on the floor.

It was so fast, I was not prepared.

You smiled at me like I was the best thing that ever happened to you.

You held my hand like there’s no tomorrow.

We talked as if the world is only made for us.

We laughed and we didn’t care whatever may happen.

For tonight is our night and nothing and no one can ever take it away. It will be just us.

But just like the lightning, you disappeared in a flash without any trace.

It left me broken, damage and in pain.

Memories of you kept hunting me that made me question my sanity.

It was a taste of heaven in your arms.

My heart was harmed.

I didn’t know what to do.

I have no idea where to go.

A battle of questions whether to hold on or let go..

I know i should make a choice.

I cannot deny it no matter how much i refuse it that in my heart it’s still you. I chose you.

Yes, it was fleeting but I was happy.

  1. Letting go is indeed hard..
But to let go of someone na nakasama mo lng ng saglit is i bet the hardest. WHY? Kasi marami kang magiging katanungan. Marami ka pang gustong gawing kasama sya. Marami kang gustong maranasan with that person….pero wala na sya….so you are letf with nothing but memories (napakakonting memories)….memories na madaling maubos…that’s what makes it so hard dahil kahit anong gawin mo wala ka ng matandaan pa or maalala na…dahil ang pinagsamahan nyu ay saglit lamang kaya naman saglit din itong lilipas sa iyong alaala..
